What was left after a hard day's tour!
Woke up to the most incredible rainstorm, and so decided to spend the day in the town of Dunedin touring the various interesting sites, since the weather was predicted to continue rainy.
Our first stop was, of course, the Cadbury factory! As we parked the van, the sun came out! But that couldn’t stop our chocolate tour! (rumor had it that if you answered questions correctly, they rewarded you with candy bars! Norman, I think, was cramming for this exam, and it paid off!). We then roamed around town, shopped for a while. Tried to see a beer factory tour, but had missed it, and had a great lunch where we both had the coveted “Bluff Oysters”. Norman had them au natural, and I tried them cooked.
Very nice.
We then changed campsites to one that provided internet service, and boy was that a horror show! It was so cramped, that we had to move twice to allow other campers to make the turn into their site! Wow! We went to a very disappointing dinner by cab (because we knew we would not be able to maneuver our way back in) and returned back so late we never got to the internet.
Oh well. Sometimes the "campsites"are less than desireable.
